It's shocking to see how many students these days have absolutely zero school pride. They don't bother about their institute, they don't participate in programs, and they just seem apathetic. It's like they've lost sight of what it means to be part of a group and believe in their fellow students. This lack of enthusiasm is harmful to the entire school atmosphere.

Man, this cap just won't cooperate! It's giving me to adjust it, but it still feels awkward. Maybe my head is a strange shape. I guess it goes to show you that sometimes things don't work out.

Not My Alma Mater
When I hear the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't bring back feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a distant concept. Maybe because my years there were not like others, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to reminisce. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't hold the same meaning for me as it does for others.
It's not that I regret my time at school. It was a time of learning, just not one that feels familiar in the way many people describe.
Perhaps it's because I made my passions away from the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are defined by unique experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.

The society doesn't accept that I ooze a different shade. They glare with fear as I show the fact of my being. My blood is a symbol of {somethingunique that they can't perceive. They label me as other, but I am simply unique.
Spirit Week? Sounds Like Work
Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing a ridiculous costume and chanting slogans. Give me brains over brawn any day!
- My teachers/My friends/Even my family all think I'm weird/missing out/crazy, but whatever. Their spirit fingers are weak.

Just Here for the Snacks
Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can check here resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me cookies any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
